Dealer Insights

First Time boat owners can experience all the unique Yamaha features in a 19 foot entry level boat. Yamaha is passionate about delivering a more affordable experience that everyone can enjoy without sacrificing quality. There has never been a better time to buy your first boat.

All the features of a more expensive watersports runabout, at a price that makes it easy for first time buyers to get on the water and have fun. Yamaha's jet propulsion system offers the advantage of getting on plane quickly with minimal bow rise. The roomy cockpit features an oversized in-floor storage compartment. Comes standard with a trailer and folding aluminum tower.

  • Bimini Top: This unequaled family boating experience comes fully equipped with a Total Package of premium amenities including a Bimini™ top at no extra cost.
  • Swim Platform: A popular gathering spot with easy access to the water, the two-tiered swim platform features backrest cushions, a wet storage compartment and a slip-resistant Hydro-Turf mat.
  • Storage: Generous passenger side storage compartment is ideal for life vests or other essentials for a day on the water.
  • Powered by the same Yamaha 1.8L High Output marine engine that comes with Yamaha's flagship models, the 190 boats delivers top of class performance and fuel efficiency while maximizing the usable space of the cockpit and stern area.
  • 3 Position No Wake Mode: Three different RPM settings allowing the driver to easily increase or decrease their no wake speed to find the optimum setting.
  • Cruise Assist: Yamaha's exclusive Cruise Assist feature holds the engine at a consistent RPM level to maintain the preferred towing or cruising speed and can be increased eight positions up and eight positions down at the pre-set increments.
  • Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI): Advanced multi-point fuel injection system utilizing a single electronically controlled throttle body and multiple reliable sensors working in armory for optimum air/fuel mixture under any condition. The result is a smooth, high power output with low fuel consumption and low exhaust emissions.
  • Yamaha Engine Management System (Y.E.M.S.®): An integrated, computerized management system that controls and adjusts such functions as ignition timing, fuel injection mapping and engine diagnostics.
  • Wet Sump Lubrication: Uses two engine oil pumps to deliver lubricated oil to each moving part with water-jacketed sump and oil backflow protection.
  • Independent Water-jacketed Exhaust Manifolds with Collector: Achieves high power while keeping noise and exhaust heat under control.
  • Thermostatic and Pressure Controlled Cooling System: Water flow through the engine is controlled by a thermostat and pressure system and is maintained by a pressure control valve.
  • Corrosion Protection System: Sacrificial zinc anodes protect the engine from harmful galvanic corrosion. Stainless steel fasteners (nuts, bolts, hardware) provide a long service life. Cylinders, cases and heads are all treated with a durable oxide coating to form a barrier between corrosion and expensive engine parts.
Jet Pump Propulsion System
  • Yamaha's jet drive system is renowned for its industry-best acceleration and quick time-to-plane, The 190 Series 155mm hyper-flow, high-pressure jet pump propulsion system is designed with an high flow intake and dynamic shape to effectively direct water flow into the pump for better thrust, performance and hook-up.
  • Thrust Directional Enhancer: A low-speed handling technology that maximizes control and maneuverability, the thrust directional enhancer directs water flow at an optimum angle creating more responsive handling as the boat is turned right and left at slow speeds.
  • Stainless Steel 3-blade Impeller and Housing Liner: For superior resistance to wear and long term durability while maintaining accurate clearance tolerances between the impeller and the housing for consistent performance.
  • Pumps are Manufactured with YDC30: A combination of aluminum, zinc and copper alloys, developed by Yamaha marine engineers, that offers excellent corrosion protection.
  • Cooling Water Intake Filter: Filters out harmful debris that could cause blockage of important cooling water passages.
  • Jet Pump Clean-out Plug with Push Button Lock Mechanism: Allows for direct access to the inlet duct cavity to easily clear any debris from the pumps from inside the boat.
